My B'day Gift: LV Neverfull MM Monogram

My birthday is two weeks away but my husband decided to surprise me in Singapore with a treat from Mr Louis Vuitton's shop. We were looking for an iPad 2 casing, as we have seen plenty of LV cases around but unfortunately the casing hasn't been launched yet. So for those who have bought the LV iPad 2 casing.. rest assure that it's a fake. Sorry to break the news to you but the LV specialist told us so.

Coming back to my birthday gift, he asked me to look around and I pointed the Neverfull MM because I have been eyeing that for quite sometimes. The PM is too small for my liking and the GM is too huge. MM is my perfect fit.  And lucky me, my love said yes! :)

Not only that the Neverfull has a lot of space, where you can fit a few kittens inside, you can also wear it two different styles. Wear it loose like the picture below and you'd look super cool or you can fold the sides and tighten the laces to make it looks like a chic bag. Tie a scarf, hang keychains.. etc.. personalize your baby.

The lining fabric design is simple yet beautiful but be careful not to spray perfume or leak any liquid inside. It could be moldy, warned the specialist.

The trimming is made of cowhide leather, it'd turn tan after sometimes. If yours doesn't turn tan after you used it for 12 months or so.. maybe it's a fake. :P Just saying!

Neverfull design doesn't have any zipper to conceal the contents of your handbag from the prying eyes but at least it has a cute hook to secure the two sides together

For those of you who are curious about the price, in Singapore is  SGD1070, RM2700 in Malaysia and 480 Pounds in the UK. And people say you can get it cheaper in Paris. Duuuhhh!

All in all, I'm sooo over the moon with the gift. Not only because it's LV, but most importantly I received it from the love of my life who knows his wife so very well. Thanks my love! Happy Birthday to me!

A Sexy Emma

Her name is Emma. She came as a big surprise one day, a very pleasant gesture from a very nice man. Met her once, took a photo with her and left. Never thought that we’d meet again. Came across many others, none as appealing as she was. On the day she arrived, the heart skipped a beat, the eyes simply refused to look away. Oh how beautiful she is, the body is gorgeous, the skin glows; everything is perfect. She looks classy yet one can sense an air of toughness around her. A soft caress on her skin, you immediately get the feeling that she comes from a good place. Admiration surfaces, the heart surrenders. This is it; Emma is the one.

Well, I’m talking about my latest handbag by the name of Coach Madison Leather Large Emma Satchel. I just want to try writing a paragraph about something without using I, my, mine. Can or not? This bag is exceptionally comfortable. You can wear it with a sling or without. What I love the most is the inner red lining of the bag. It just gives you the feeling of luxury, and the red is simply sexy. The bag has just enough compartments at the sides for you to store your smart phone and other women essentials, and there’s this large space in the middle where I put my handbag organizer in. The calfskin leather is soft and slightly shiny, exudes sophistication and style.

Emma is just a perfect bag for any occasion, well.. probably not for dinner parties. And the Coach logo is tastefully placed in the middle front, subtle and just enough to my liking. This bag is offered in black and beige and I’m so glad that my husband chose the black one. It looks stylish and classy for any occasions. Emma is my first Coach handbag. Honestly, I am not into Coach bags, as I don’t like large flashy logos and the many Cs, but its leather collections are not bad at all. Thank you my love for the lovely gift. Much love. XOXO.

Grin..grin!
The size is just perfect for an everyday bag
A nice subtle logo

Bag Review: Long Champ Arbre de Vie

On our way back to JB, my husband asked me one question, nonchalantly.  He wanted to know what other color of Le Pliage that I think is nice. That question was translated to "he is going to buy me another one!" And of course, yours truly can't wait for the surprise to happen so she (kinda) chased for the surprise.

Surprise!!... we are going to LongChamp in Pavillion today! He had the plan to buy one for me through his friend who's going to Paris next month but since I insisted to go to the shop, he didn't reluctant at all to make me happy.
 Thanks, love!

There're many to choose from but of course my choice is...... the much talk about limited edition Arbre de Vie, the tree of life. It's a bit more expensive than the normal ones but I think it's so worth it. Don't you?

Fresh catch from the shop. I choose long/medium in white. The Arbre de vie is available in dark blue and white only

The size is just nice, you can put almost all your things inside with a bit more space to spare

The button and zip are silver plated

The embroidery on the canvas is exquisite, subtle, not overwhelming

The bird is gorgeous, isn't it?

It's gonna be her bag one day. :)

Bag Review: Long Champ Le Pliage

Women are going ga-ga for LongChamp Le Pliage. I think the designer of this bag is plain genius. He/she created the simplest design but focused on the quality of the materials used and workmanship. This bag is full of room, you can even carry two cats around in it. I am lucky to have the pleasure of owning a Le Pliage when my wonderful husband brought one back from Cannes, France. Straight from Cannes, ladies and gentlemen.

Now don't go green with envy, Pavillion also has a LongChamp store where you can buy it at regular price.. I think around RM600+, anybody knows the actual price, tell me please. This bag is so popular, it has become the target of copycats. Fake Le Pliage are everwhere and if you don't know how to spot the fake, you could be the victim of these conniving people. So, if you plan to buy Le Pliage online and at a cheaper price, this is how you spot the fake, read here. Perhaps they won't put the fake pics online but you'll find it out when it arrives. It's better to spend the right amount of money for an original. Well, that's my opinion.

Why do I like Le Pliage?

1. It has room! A LOT OF ROOM to store a lot of my things.
2. The color is awesome! Mine is purplish.
3. When it rains, I don't care because it's waterproof
4. You can fold it into small bag and easier for storage.
5. Because I know that it could turn you into green anytime of the day. Haha!
You can view a range of Le Pliage here

My Lovely LV Bag: Trevi PM

CAUTION: Please do not continue reading this entry if you:

1. want to read about shoes
2. do not like LV bags
3. think that buying expensive bags is a sin (well, you know who you are)

Who doesn't love great looking handbags? Now, don't lie. Every women and 50% of men in this world do. How many handbags you have, only you know. My first encounter with a Trevi PM was at a wedding back in June 2010.  She looked so gorgeous, I couldn't get my eyes of her. However, the price was my major concern. At RM6100...... it's a bit on the high side... well it's REALLY on a high side. Before I bumped into her, LV didn't have any appeal on me. A lot of people using fake LV merchandise here and it's a real turn-off. But I just couldn't shake this one off my mind. My husband went to Paris in October but I didn't want to trouble him most definitely. Lucky for me, he kind of read my mind and he brought back a Long Champ! Okay, back to Trevi PM. When you want something so badly, you'd go high low up down to make sure you get it.

So last January, I decided to close one eye and made that withdrawals from the ATM. That Saturday, I went to LV in StarHill with my hubby and Tia. I pointed to Trevi PM, gave the guy an envelope full of RM50 and the deal was done. And that's the beginning of my journey with MY Trevi PM. I'm not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, so owning an LV is my personal achievement. Haha! Sentimental la pulak! I have to take pride on this one because I work my a** for it. Sort of....

I have no regrets whatsoever. The workmanship is excellent, the quality is superb, red microfiber lining is gorgeous. Excerpt from the main website "Gorgeous pleats in Damier Canvas mark out the Trevi PM as an ideal feminine bag". As for the room inside the bag, it's plenty for my everyday 'gadgets'. And the thing I like the most about Trevi PM is, it stands firm yet it looks so gorgeous. Just like me!

And having my name engraved on the shoulder strap is a personal touch from LV. Thank you.

What's In My Bag?

Ms Pancake requests me to do this post and as a sporting auntie, I oblige. What's the obsession of knowing what's in somebody else's handbags? I guess it's fun! Haha! So Ms Pancake.. here you go.

This is my latest handbag. LV Trevi PM with a perfect red suede/velvety lining and my name embossed in gold in the inside of the shoulder strap. A very gorgeous bag with enough room to stuff things. If I could put my high-heels inside, I would. :P

Isn't it gorgeous? Ahhh.....

Okay now.. what's in my handbag? A woman must have a pair of shades, mustn't she? And mine is MANGO I bought in Istanbul. Quite a good bargain over there. I also carry with me a pair of regular specs in case my contact lens decided to play prank. The firefly is my favorite brooch found in Korea, in an event when I need a brooch, DUH! :)

I keep my cards and money in my classic Marc purse. They have it in blue which I thought quite beautiful but I ended up buying brown.

This woman also needs panty-liners and tissues.. they're indeed very important, don't leave house without them! In the stripe small pouch I keep my mints, camera cable, USB flash disk, a lipgloss and my phone charger cable.

The phone, my car keys and house keys are my life.

My S90 Canon, business cards and 3 black pens. Why do I have 3 pens, only God knows.

For a woman who claims that she loves make up, this doesn't do justice! Where's the blusher and the lipstick and the eyeshadow and the mascara and the.......
